Terzo e penultimo giorno di gara per la Giotti Victoria-Savini Due al Giro di Sicilia in cui la formazione rumeno-italiana ha portato a termine la frazione di 171 chilometri da Realmonte a Piazza Armerina. La squadra si è fatta notare nelle prime posizioni del gruppo dei big a 60 chilometri dall’arrivo per dare manforte ad altre squadre a chiudere la fuga di giornata che è arrivata al traguardo con il croato Fran Mihojlevic del Cycling Team Friuli vincitore di tappa. L’esigente tappa finale con arrivo ai 1600 metri dell’Etna può costituire un ultimo banco di prova per tentare la fuga da lontano.

From Realmonte to Piazza Armerina the third stage of the Giro di Sicilia for the Giotti Victoria-Savini Due
Third and penultimate day of competition for the Giotti Victoria-Savini Due at the Giro di Sicilia in which the Romanian-Italian team completed the 171-kilometer fraction from Realmonte to Piazza Armerina. The team stood out in the top positions of the big group 60 kilometers from the finish to help other teams to close the breakaway of the day that reached the finish line with the Croatian Fran Mihojlevic of Cycling Team Friuli, winner of the stage. The demanding final stage with arrival at the 1600 meters of Mount Etna can be a last test bench for trying to escape from afar.
